#1 Semi-Guided Elk or Deer Hunts

By far our most popular package, this semi-guided hunt takes the guess work out of it. When you’ve only got 5 days there’s no time to waste. Providing transportation, tree stands, ladder stands, and ground blinds-We’ll make sure you are where all the action is! This package includes lodging in our Elk Camp Cabin, all meals provided and pack out services.

#2 Semi-Guided Hunts without Meals and Lodging

Book a hotel room in Collbran, Rent a cabin at Vega Lakes Lodge, or an RV spot at Vega State Park and your outfitter will meet up with you each day to bring you up to the ranch and get you to the perfect spot before first light. Pick up and lunch midday is available for an addition fee.

#3 “The King” Fully Guided Elk Hunts

This package has it all! Cabin accommodations, all meals, transportation, 1-on-1 guiding, skinning, gutting, packing, trophy handling, processing transport & arrangements.

#4 Mule Deer Voucher Hunts

Didn’t Draw- Not a problem! Call for available seasons. Additional services may be purchased on an ‘as needed’ basis during your hunt.

#5 Do-It-Yourself Hunts

(Late Rifle seasons only)

At KD Bar Ranches DIY hunters are let in the main gate, shown to their cabin or designated camp spot and given a map of the area. Feel free to come a day early to get settled in. Please note, DIY hunts are desiged for experienced hunters ONLY, providing all their own gear and supplies. DIY hunters must be confident and comfortable navigating and hunting unassisted as well as being prepared for potential adverse weather conditions.

“AS NEEDED” Services:

- Four wheeler rental $125 per day

*With carcass trailer $175*

- Horses $ 250 per day

- Pack out for harvested and quartered game $400

- Bugling $250 per day

Mule deer vouchers may be added to an Elk hunt package for an additional fee

Rates DO NOT include tags or licensing fees

(Rates Subject to Change. All license fees and habitat stamp are the responsibility of the hunter)

*** 50% Non-refundable deposit and signed contract is due within 10 days after booking your hunt. We cannot guarantee you a hunt until we receive a deposit. Remaining balance due by August 1 the year of your hunt.

*** Hunt price is for ONE big game animal. If you draw blood, that is your animal. Please radio your outfitter and we will do our very best to assist in tracking and recovery of your game. However, regardless of whether recovery is successful or not KD Bar Ranches considers your hunt completed.

*** Hunting under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances is unlawful and will NOT be permitted.
